Other Animals In Need
Because we are a no-kill
shelter with a limited amount of space, there will be times when we cannot take in other animals unless they are
in a life-threatening situation. For owners who are looking to surrender a kitty because of changes in family
situation or other reasons, we do maintain a waiting list. Owners on the waiting list may have their
kitty's picture and description posted on this page. For prospective adopters - please remember these kitties are
not at the shelter and we make no claim as to their health or the status of their medical upkeep. If you are interested
in one of these kitties you must contact the owner listed on this page.

These beautiful kittens are looking for good, happy homes.
Sebastiani is the most affectionate of the bunch; Sebastiani is happiest when he's in your lap.
Benziger is a purr-box, but surprisingly bold. Simply a sweetheart.
Mondavi is a handsome little man who once was the quietest of the litter...little did we know how quirky he really is...

Gray spent an adventurous year as a stray tomcat during which he lost an ear and acquired FIV. He has recently been neutered, received all
immunizations, gotten vet care for his wounds, and is now ready for his new life as a member of a household. He is friendly, has a good sense of humor
and good litterbox skills, uses the scratching post, and LOVES attention and laps. He is a big, strong, assertive guy! Contact Donna at
quailspg@frii.com for more information and where you can see Gray in his foster home.

Stasha loves attention and deserves a permanent place she can call home. Her owners needed to move to an apartment that doesn't allow cats. She is
about eight years old, spayed, and has striking white fur with one tabby-colored ear and a tabby tail. Contact Donna at
quailspg@frii.com for more information and where you can see Stasha in her foster home.

Mabel was found as a stray at 3 months of age and has been a friendly companion for the last 6 years. She is a gray tabby, declawed (front) and
spayed. She is current on all vaccinations. She is a fairly quiet indoor cat and is litter box trained. Mabel grew up in a house with dogs and is
comfortable with infants and children. She is not particularly outgoing, but she warms up quickly when given the opportunity. Mabel is a special needs
cat who has a treatable stomach condition that is controlled by a combination of diet and regular doses of prednisolone. All of her toys and a litter box
would accompany her to a new home. If you are interested in Mabel or want more information about her, please contact Valerie at (970) 225-0021.

Tiny is an adult orange tabby cat, who is about 2 and a half years old. He is very sweet and loving, and he absolutely adores people. It never fails that if you put your nose by his face, he'll give you lots of kisses with his big kitty tongue. He even has kitty freckles on his nose! His favorite toys are strings and furry catnip mice, but he has fun playing with kitty laser toys sometimes, too. He already had his front claws removed when we got him, and he is neutered. His vaccinations are up-to-date, and I can get copies of his records from our veterinarian. He is a special needs kitty because he has food allergies and must have prescription low-allergen cat food. He also has sensitive skin and is prone to chin acne breakouts if his bowls are not cleaned regularly. Tiny is free to a good home and people who will love him and commit to him. Included are all of his things--food and water bowls, feeding mat, collar, a couple toys, and one bag of cat food to start him off. I can even include a litter box if necessary but cannot provide cat litter. If interested in Tiny, please email christiana.mccormick@gmail.com

I want to be an indoor kitty. I know how to use the litter box. I love my belly rubbed and kissed. And my finest quality of all...I値l sleep next to you all night long!

Our cat's name is Gretch (Gretchen) and she is a beautiful petite black cat with gold eyes and a small white patch of fur on her belly.
She is 2 years old and has a great personality. She gets along with other cats and would be a great indoor/outdoor cat. Fully litter box trained and has
never had any accidents in our home. She is very active and loves to play, hunt and pounce! Gretch is also very vocal and will respond when you say her name!
We have really enjoyed her company but unfortunately my husband and I have to leave the country. We are sad to see her go but would love to find her a new
warm and loving home! Please call for more details/questions! Jenn & Adam 720-771-9824

Reese is about 4 years old. He has all his
vaccinations, is neutered, and also has a location chip. Reese is a
sweet cat. He has beautiful black fur and is very soft to pet. We're
looking for a new home for him because we can no longer afford 2 cats
unfortunately. So hopefully we can find a loving family to take care of
him. If you are interested in giving Reese a good home, contact Annie McCarthy at 970-430-1415.

The Siamese cat that you see is only about 1-2 years old and is a neutered male. His name is Tonka because he is a pretty big cat! He is really friendly and just wants to be loved. He seems to do ok with dogs and other cats. He was a stray that was brought in by the Windsor police department. He was pretty beat up when he came in but we fixed him up and he is doing well now!
The Persian that is pictured is named Carlotta or Carli for short. She is approx. 3 years old. She is very sweet as well, although it takes a little bit of time for her to warm up to people. She doesn't do well with dogs and would probably prefer to be the only pet in the house. She is sort of quiet but she warms up to people after a while. She was abandoned in our parking lot with a note saying that she was a feral cat that the people couldn't keep. She was obviously not feral because she is front paw declawed and spayed.

Halloween is a 13-15 lb, 3 year old, neutered male cat. He is black with vibrant orange eyes and a charming, social personality. He loves attention and is vocal about it, even though his meow is very quiet. Halloween is great with people, even kids, and medium to large breed dogs. His only fault is that he must now be an only cat as he developed aggression issues around one year ago, and behavior modification has been unsuccessful.
Anyone interested in adopting him may contact Lace at 970-353-0344 or

Abigal has all of her shots, and is social, but only when she wants to be of course. She is around children a lot since I own a daycare and have it in my home. One of the children has allergies and I really need to find her a different home. It will be hard to give her away because my children love her. But I would give her to a good home.
The only problem she really seems to have is with her litter box. She has a tendency to push some of her poop out of the box. If it is an open litter box, she will balance on the edges so she doesn't have to touch it. It isn't a big deal here because her box is in the garage. But she is very particular and likes her box changed daily, otherwise she pushes it out of the box. She hasn't been around a dog so I'm not sure how she would do. I think she would be okay around another cat. She is also very vocal and talks alot. She doesn't shed if you brush her.

Moonpie is very sweet, loving and well behaved, about 12 and in excellent health (all shots are current). I am very allergic and when I divorced
I've been trying to take care of her. She will like the attention when you're ready and not too pushy. Needs to be inside, she likes to ride in the vehicle
but when you stop she wants to get out wherever you are (not good). She is fine with all other animals and children. She has claws and comes with a variety
of toys and scratching pads. Please contact me at kushland@skybeam.com or 532-0639.

I would love to find a new home for Emma. She is a 10 year old orange and white medium hair cat. She is spayed and fully declawed. She has spent her whole life as an indoor kitty. She is current on her shots at Moore Animal Hospital in FC. I have attached one picture of her. She is friendly except for being nervous around children. I have some cat equipment (carrier, litter box, and toys) that I would be glad to donate.
Thank you,
Jim
