Moki Spencer Von Gilden loves movies! He has studied long and hard under Ebert and Roeper to learn the trade of movie reviewing. And now he is pleased to present his opinions on new (and not so new) drama, action, classic, comedy, and hope to never see again movies as seen through the eye of a cat.
- Jumper -
As an animal of the feline persuasion, the title "Jumper" piqued my interest. Likewise, there were great wide screen views of coveted vacation sites that drew my attention...as I seldom get the chance to venture outside my home. Beyond that, however, the storyline is a bit lacking in imagination and is easily forgettable as another mediocre action flick. That is why I felt no guilt when I periodically took a moment to clean myself between teleporting scenes. Speaking of teleporting, if I had that gift, my top 5 jump sites would be: to the fresh fish section at King Soopers, to the catnip and toy aisle at PetCo, to my friend Sam's house...how many is that? Oh, I knew I should have paid attention when they were teaching numbers at kitten preschool! Anyway, the movie was no classic, but still entertaining. I give it 3 out of 5 paws.
