Staff Bios
Directory Sarah Swanty
I grew up around animals, and
have always loved them. I started working in
veterinary hospitals at the age of 17 as a kennel
worker. I gradually became a veterinary technician,
as well as the kennel manager.
Several times while working in
veterinary hospitals I brought animals home with me
that someone no longer wanted for some reason. I
was able to re-home all of them (aside from the ones
I kept. J)
Graduated with a BS in Zoology
from CSU in 2005.
Anna Neubauer and I founded
FCCR in June of 2006. We were tired of all of the
homeless animals in the area, and wanted to make a
difference. I have wanted to do rescue work for a
long time.
Right now FCCR consumes my
entire life, but I hope to eventually enjoy other
hobbies again. Those include: gardening, horseback
riding, cooking, reading, hiking, etc.
